Access to Other Libraries through TexShare

Dunagan Library participates in a cooperative agreement called TexShare with a number of other Texas universities, community colleges, and public libraries. This program allows UTPB students, faculty, and staff to use other libraries in the State of Texas. To take advantage of these programs you will need a card identifying you as a UTPB affiliate. Those people at the main campus in Odessa wishing to have a TexShare card should come to the Circulation Desk to fill out their application and receive their card. The library verifies that you are a currently enrolled student or currently employed staff or faculty member in good standing; patrons with outstanding library fines must pay their fines prior to the issuance of a TexShare card. TexShare cards are valid for one semester.

Distance Education students may apply for a TexShare Card by supplying the information below via mail, email or fax. Upon receipt of your application, we will verify that you are an UTPB affiliate in good standing and mail your card to the mailing address you provide. Patrons with outstanding library fines must pay their fines prior to the issuance of a TexShare Card. You may also apply for a TexShare Card at the Dunagan Library Circulation Desk. TexShare cards are valid for one semester.
